Description:
Leidos has a career opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner to support leaders and employees located at the Leidos Veterans Health location in Austin, Texas.

As a trusted advisor, the HR Business Partner will provide advice and leadership to senior business leaders, including the Vice President and his direct staff. The successful candidate may also help to support other initiatives and/or program areas within the greater Veterans Health business.
The HR Business Partner will collaborate with various internal clients and stakeholders to help lead and drive change management/continued integration into Leidos, leadership development, workforce strategy, strategic staffing and
proposal support, organizational design, talent development, employee engagement, and employee relations; while also supporting the key HR enterprise and Leidos initiatives.

Close collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence (i.e. Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Diversity & Inclusion) is critical to ensure that HR programs are implemented with a focus on achieving business results.

Ability to travel on an as-needed basis domestically. 

Most leaders and teams within the primary client group are located in Austin, TX. 

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 8+ years of professional experience; or 6+ years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Equivalent experience/combined education will be considered.
 Considered an emerging authority.
• Prior HR Business Partner/HR Generalist experience
• Demonstrated experience with coaching, influencing, and building effective relationships with leaders and employees to influence decisions
• Demonstrated experience leading and driving change initiatives within client groups
• Proven ability to move from strategy to execution
• Experience in HR disciplines such as performance management, talent management, career development and employee relations.
• Ability to anticipate client needs and develop effective plans
• Track record of driving positive Employee Relations
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Analytical and project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Strong computer skills using HR applications, HR reporting and MS office suite
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
