Description:
The Defense & Intelligence Group of Leidos is seeking a Capacity Management Systems Engineer  to support the Information Technology Enterprise Management Contract within the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.

Capacity Management Systems Engineer responsibilities: 
• Provide capacity management services to ensure that capacity meets current and future requirements in a cost-effective and agile manner. 
Capacity includes: hardware/material assets (e.g., spares), consumables (e.g., printer paper), and software licenses.
• Monitor and manage capacity and spares to ensure scalability to accommodate growth, flexibility to meet changing mission needs and responsiveness to customer requirements.
• Document, maintain and execute a Capacity Management Plan that includes a plan to support incidents and standard change requests to prevent impacts to operations.
• Document and update a capacity report that includes total available capacity, total consumed capacity and capacity threshold values.
• Utilize available capacity to support break-fix, standard change requests and special orders.
• Provide customer notification when the available capacity does not meet capacity threshold values.

Qualifications:
Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of broad IT Service Management (ITSM) experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
• Experience with Demand/Availability management, capacity management, service desk, and/or Tier 2-3 technical/engineering support of services. 
• Working knowledge of service portfolio planning and service pipeline review/update.  
• Adhere to functionality, quality, and schedule for ITSM program including communication of deliverables.  
• Create reports as needed for management and compliance.  
• TS/SCI clearance with poly is required

Desired Skills:

• ITIL Certification
• A minimum of six years' experience in medium to large scale operations of IT Service Management.  
• Configuration and development experience with Service/Product packaging, marketing, and offering within a Service Catalog.  
• Appropriate Infrastructure/Architectural Experience for requirements, product offering, and documentation with: (1) IT product capture, (2) Web Applications, and (3) Windows/Unix/Linux experience.
