Description:
The Defense & Intelligence Group of Leidos is seeking a Software Asset Manager to support the conference center under the Information Technology Enterprise Management Contract within the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.

The Software Asset Manager is responsible for tracking and managing software assets within an Enterprise environment.  Experience working with license or asset management solutions such as Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite is desired.  Responsibilities include assisting in the procurement, receiving, and on-going management of software assets.  Good communication skills are a must and being able to bridge the communication gap between technical and non-technical individuals is also a must.  The Software Asset Manager does require some base technical experience working with software in an Enterprise setting.  An understanding of application software and systems architecture in regard to software assets is strongly desired.

Duties include:
Assist with the procurement and tracking of software.
Receive and store software, binaries, and keys within a software repository.
Experience managing or deploying software from a technical perspective.
Experience with License Management Solutions such as Flexera, Aspera, Eracent, or Snow Software
Build and manage objects within the license management system to track licenses and software
• Responsible for configuration management (CM) of systems 
• Identifies configuration items, implements change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits 
• Works on teams to create and maintain software, hardware, and documentation configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.)  
• Develops or modifies CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system  
• Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system endof-life  
• Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software, licenses, media, and other IT assets  
• Ensures that all changes to the baselines go through appropriate change boards 
• Tracks all problems and changes in product documents/software and reports changes, controls standard operating procedures and current configurations 
• Uses or recommends automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience
Additional years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required
