Description:
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Vaccine Clinical Materials Program (VCMP) is responsible for the overall direction of the operations/manufacturing of the vaccine and biotherapeutic development facility for the development of experimental therapeutics for pre-clinical and Phase I and II clinical trials targeting a range of infectious diseases.


KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, the Project Control Scheduler will:

  • Develop and coordinate an integrated master plan and schedule to meet Vaccine Clinical Materials Program objectives
  • Assist management and operations personnel in tracking and progress monitoring of vaccine production projects, tracking plans and schedules, performing risk analysis, identifying and resolving conflicts
  • Analyze quantitative project control data, develop metrics and make recommendations to improve scheduling efficiency
  • Work with management and operations staff to obtain information necessary to implement resource allocation, bottleneck analysis, status reports and impact to deadlines
  • Maintain schedules at both the detailed and integrated levels using Microsoft Project and/or other software tools
  • Assist with monitoring project schedules
  • Partner with Materials Management and Purchasing to ensure Bill of Materials are updated as necessary
  • Partner with Materials Management to ensure production materials are ordered and in stock so as not to negatively impact production
  • Manage and track approval of process technology transfer and analytical methods transfer documentation


Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university according to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education)
  • Six (6) years of relevant experience, including project management experience and associated software
  • Demonstrated ability to review, analyze, and report on project status
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Experience in a cGMP-compliant operational environment
  • Demonstrated ability to review, analyze and report on project status as related to vaccine production
