The job of the Desktop Publisher is to develop proposal templates for domestic, international, and classified proposals for a variety of government proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and in accordance with Proposal Operations Standard Operating Procedures and Leidos branding
-Perform formatting for proposals in support of business development initiatives, including White Papers, Ad-hoc projects and reports, and visual presentations in PowerPoint
-Expert skill set in MicroSoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
-Read and interpret RFP requirements to ensure compliance with all font, page, sizing, and other proposal submission requirements
-Electronically create and format visually appealing MicroSoft Word and Excel documents in compliance with RFP Requirements
-Review Proposal Specification and Production Plan to ensure compliance
-Provide visual Quality Assurance (QA) Quality Control (QC) of all proposal materials
-Assist with reproduction of final proposal deliverables
-Assist with other administrative tasks occasionally
-High School/equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience. Some college or formal design training preferred.
-Proposal and reproduction related background is required
-Ability to communicate both verbally and written with customers and company personnel
-Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required
-Ability to meet attendance policy
-Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (Secret, Top Secret-SCI)
-Experience in PowerPoint, InDesign and other layout and design software
-Ability to manage proposal facilitation duties if a proposal coordinator has not been assigned
-ActiveSecurity Clearance (Secret, Top Secret-SCI)
-College or formal design training preferred.
