Description:

The Skyline program at Leidos is seeking a an Operational Finance Professional to support domestic and international programs and new business pursuits.  


This individual will be responsible for all financial aspects of the International Skyline programs (current programs and new business pursuits), overseeing Satellite programs (current GCCS and start-up of GEO-7) as well as various domestic new business (mainly FAA) pursuits (2018 AOP $40M revenue).  


The employee will have a previous background supporting domestic and international programs and new business pursuits.  


Ideally, the employee will also have a background in Earned Value Management. 



Responsibilities include: 

  • Developing and driving financial outlooks/EACs
  • Oversight of GEO-7 start-up program (includes EVM)
  • Oversight of international new business pursuits (coordinating with treasury, tax, etc. ) 
  • Provide support on new large FAA pursuits slated for 2019.   
  • Lead a team of two analysts and spend ~40-50% of the time directly supporting ongoing international programs. 
  • Interpreting operating results.
  • Explaining variances.
  • Identifying a robust set of risks and opportunities.  
  • Deal with high levels of complexity as programs are in various countries.  
  • Communicate with executive leadership (internally or client).

Qualifications:

Typical education and experience:

  • Typically requires a BA degree and at least 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with at least 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
Basic qualifications:

  • Experience with international programs and new business.
  • Very strong excel skills needed

  • Ability to work with employees located remotely


 Desired qualifications:


  • Experience with international/new business - currencies, tax rules, etc. highly desired
