JOB DESCRIPTION: The Communications Specialist will collaborate will support the customer to design, develop and implement strategies to communicate program messages to the workforce through print, media, technology, and training. The Communications Specialist will understand the workforce and provide recommendations on best approaches for reaching maximum recipients and obtaining maximum impact. The candidate will provide expert guidance on innovative approaches, marketing capabilities, and expectations, supporting efforts to drive strategic communications and marketing of programs and initiatives to the workforce. In addition, the Communications Specialist will support subject matter experts (SME)/instructors through the design and development of facilitation techniques and creative solutions to effectively convey class concepts and materials.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss and identify requirements.
· Propose creative solutions to convey clear messages to the broad workforce.
· Design and develop innovative solutions using media, technology, and print.
· Collaborate with SMEs and instructors to improve facilitation techniques and design creative solutions to communicate class content using various forms of media.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
·Demonstrated ability to develop outreach strategies and implementation plans.
·Demonstrated ability to deliver marketing and/or communication products via various media.
·Demonstrated ability and experience assessing project needs, developing effective solutions, and delivering those solutions to a diverse workforce.
·Demonstrated understanding of effective inter- and intra-group communication skills.
·Ability to determine the intended audience for a given need and craft effective messages to that audience through various media and platforms.
·Demonstrated ability to collaborate with SMEs, instructors, and senior leaders.
·Demonstrated ability to design and develop creative solutions to effectively deliver learning concepts and products.
·Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
·Demonstrated ability with media tools such as Captivate, Go Animate, Abode Suite, or the equivalent.
Strong working knowledge of adult learning
