Logistics/Real Property Mngr
The Defense & Intelligence Group has a current opening for a Logistics/Real Property Manager at our Customer site in Springfield, VA
Job Description: The selected candidate will assist the Customer with managing transportation and shipping costs; and assist with quality assurance of real property (e.g. buildings, utilities, etc.; NOT personal property, e.g. furniture, computers, etc.). The candidate must have strong analytical skills; must coordinate proposed projects with multiple government entities, and prepare presentations for senior management. Individual must be TS/SCI cleared, have a current SSBI and be willing to undergo a polygraph.
Education: Bachelor's Degree with 11+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Required Skills: Logistics experience. Basic working knowledge of real property. Possess a strong understanding of the federal acquisition process. Understanding of DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) security regulations, directives and policies required. Strong organizational skills, to include timely delivery of finished products. Effective oral and written communication skills. Advanced proficiency in writing and grammar including the ability to edit and proofread. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook). Working knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Project, AutoCAD and Primavera applications.
Additional desired qualifications/skills: Customer's Security and Installations Operations experience strongly desired. Business education and/or project management experience.
