The Defense & Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for a Configuration Management Analyst at Chesapeake, VA. 

Job Summary:
The configuration management analyst will track the configuration of the SQQ89 system in CDMD-OA and other government databases. Submit changes into the Naval Data Exchange. Provide configuration management to engineering changes, APLs, and other items.  

Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the use of configuration management tools (e.g. NDE, IPDM, CSA) to store, track, and manage configuration items. Update NDE applications such as Navy Modernization and entitled process. 
Assist in developing processes and procedures in supporting configuration management for the fleet
Provide reviews of engineering changes in respect to configuration management
Assist supply support in development of APLs to provide change packages based upon fleet alterations
Apply CM concepts to manage the AN/SQQ89 Sonar configuration for each hull and provide installation support documents to the customer
Support multiple engineering IPTs and the Government Change Control Board (CCB) as directed.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years’ experience or a masters with less than 2 years’ experience. Needs to have understanding of CM philosophy.(additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree)

Preferred Qualifications:
Skills and experience that is “nice to have” but not required.  
- Understanding of Life Cycle Management (LCM)
- Familiar with Ship change Documents (SCDs)(includes SA,EC,FC)
- Understanding of Next higher Assembly and New Lower Assembly, Repairable Identification Code (RIC)
- Experience with Interactive Computer-Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS), Allowance Parts Lists (APLS), Configuration Data Managers (CDM), Navy Data Environment (NDE), and knowledge of SONAR
