Description:


Experience with linguist task assignments & workflows.
Experience in conducting and preparing accurate gist's, translations, and/or transcriptions of general and technical materials.
Ability to comprehend, write, and speak in a clear and concise manner and pronunciation in the specified foreign language and English.
Ability to conduct interpersonal and email conversation at a professional level.
Achieve a minimum score of a 3 in respective foreign language and 3+ in English for Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing.
Ability to quick scan and process a large amount of material in a foreign language for critical and essential elements of information, prioritization, and task breakdown.
Ability to provide input and guidance to other team members on projects and in the production of written reports.
Be proficient in MS Office and Hold an advance degree in one of the following fields: Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Legal, Medical, Banking and Financing, Foreign Military
HS diploma with 5-8 years general work experience may be substituted for education

Additional Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Document and Media Exploitation concepts and processes.
Experience with relevant government and commercial systems preferred, but not required (i.e. TED, Harmony, TRADOS).
Demonstrated and successful experience in managing large, complex, or distributed translation projects.
Advanced knowledge of standard business applications, with particular emphasis on Acrobat, Oracle (queries & reports), Excel, Access, and SharePoint.
