System and Test Intern
Leidos is seeking a talented System Engineering and Test Intern, to join the Geophysics and Electronic Systems team on unattended ground sensor (UGS) programs in San Diego, CA.
The intern will have a variety of duties which include laboratory and outdoor testing of UGS devices, analysis of UGS sensor and system performance, and the development of UGS concepts. The intern will work closely with senior engineers to learn about UGS technologies.
The Systems Engineering and Test intern will be assisting an R&D program with device- and system-level performance assessments, integration and test, and field testing. These responsibilities will require the intern to operate and analyze data from Leidos-developed UGS under the guidance of senior engineers. The intern will assist in developing material for users’ manuals and related deliverable documents. The intern will also assist to develop concepts for UGS technologies and to provide background material for white papers.
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- Applicant must have successfully completed a minimum of four semesters of undergraduate engineering education with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- U.S. Citizenship is required- must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.
