Description:

Leidos's Military & Veterans Health Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager.  The successful candidate will oversee the transition and sustainment in support of the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) II contract.  The candidate will be responsible for the management of all support activities for current and future task orders. Additionally, candidate is responsible for planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives. 

 

The HSG POTFF PM is responsible for comprehensive and effective coordination, development, and evaluation of programs and services that contribute directly and positively to preservation of the assigned unit’s force and families. The HSG POTFF PM shall identify and document program/service needs and evaluation data.

 

The contractor shall coordinate the provision of programs and services utilizing existing resources from within their assigned commands, DoD and the civilian sector. As required the contractor shall assist with the development of standard operating procedures/service provision protocols, program development, community organizing, community outreach and liaison, serve as the commander’s representative for matters related to family support, communicate on behalf of the command utilizing a variety of media/social media.

 

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers regarding all aspects of program execution, including schedule management and deliverable management; monitoring/positively influencing/reporting to Program Management financial performance, schedule performance, and Estimates to Complete (ETCs); and serve as program SME for all business plans, and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms, and conditions of contract.

 

 


Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

·        Master’s  Degree  and 10+ years of full-time professional experience in Project Management 

·        Demonstrated proficiency with customer interface, task execution planning, staffing, contract management, subcontract management, budgeting and cost control, quality assurance management, and personnel management 

·        Experience in creating and presenting material to senior Government officials and corporate executives

·        Thorough knowledge of the POTFF program and SOCOM community

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

·        Intimate knowledge of the POTFF program.

·        P&L responsibility for $10M+ annually 

·        Have 10+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects. 

 

US Citizenship required.  Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI government security clearance.  The contractor shall have a minimum of two years’ experience with the POTFF program.
