Industrial Security Professional
The Advanced Solutions Group (ASG) at Leidos currently has an opening for an Assistant Facility Security Officer in our San Diego, CA office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping one of the most active, dynamic and complex Leidos locations and missions. We are seeking an experienced and trained industrial security professional to serve as an Assistant FSO. The AFSO will assist the FSO in managing activities associated with compliance with the NISPOM as it relates to staff activities in the following areas: Facility Clearance Management, Offsite Security, Personnel Security, Incident Inquiries and Reports, Document Control, Access Control, Visitor control, Physical Security, International Security (FGI and NATO, Foreign Visitor Records), Contract Security, IS Security, Controlled Unclassified Information Security, Security Education, Training and Awareness.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below
Bachelor's Degree and 4-8 years Industrial Security experience. Additional years of experience may also considered in liue of education. Strong oral and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills; Working Knowledge of the NISPOM and of government databases that must be utilized by FSOs for NISPOM compliance, such as JPAS and e-FCL; Industrial security experience involving a large, multi-site cleared facility
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration
- Certification of completed courses included in the NISPOM-required FSO training curricula officered through CDSE ("FSO Orientation for Non0-Possessing facilities" or "FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities") or an industrial security professional certification such as SPeD, SFPC or ISP Certifications.
