Joint Air-to-Ground Analyst
Leidos is looking for a Joint Air-to-Ground Analyst at JBLE, VA. Candidates must currently possess a current Secret clearance.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Applicants will develop and recommend improvements to Joint Air-Ground command and control (C2) systems, doctrine, concept of operations (CONOPS), tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP), operating procedures, USAF and USA training, and technologies. Applicants must be a subject matter expert in either air operations or ground combat arms military specialties and highly experienced in Joint Fires and Joint Airspace Command and Control procedures. The Joint Integration efforts include but are not limited to Tactical Air Control Party systems/equipment modernization, Joint Air Ground Integration Cell (JAGIC) TTP development, Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) Modernization, Civilian Casualty (CIVCAS) Mitigation, Combat Air Force/Special Operations Forces (CAF/SOF) interoperability, analysis of Air-Ground operational lessons learned and evaluation of relevant / emerging technologies. Applicants will participate in Army-Air Force integration forums, exercises, experiments, and support Headquarters Air Combat Command and component staff activities. Applicants must possess outstanding oral and written communication skills, interacting with multiservice junior and senior rank personnel, and program / project management skills. Telecommuting is possible contingent upon the applicant’s geographic location.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 15 years’ experience in relevant Air Force or Army / USMC combat arms specialties; minimum of 5 years’ experience in Joint Air-Ground operations; minimum of 3 years’ experience in Joint environment. Graduates of a service intermediate / senior professional military education school are highly desired. Secret security clearance is required. TS/SCI is preferred.
