Leidos is actively interviewing for a MCIS Headquarters Management Analyst position to join our team in VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. 

a. Finance Support: 
The candidate shall provide financial support to MCIS Resource Directorate including: the production of reports, spreadsheets, tables, and charts; maintain files in accordance with Marine and DOD Federal regulations; provide relevant data to be used within scheduled and ad hoc fiscal briefings; and provide other administrative support to the Resource Director and Logistic Officer as needed. The candidate shall have knowledge of Marine Corps, Department of Navy, Department of Defense, and USMC financial management systems policies and processes. The candidate shall have a basic understanding of USMC financial management requirements of maintaining files in accordance with Inspector General’s AIRS checklist. The candidate shall work closely with MCIS Financial Manager to assist with the compiling and manipulation of data for the development of presentations and briefings. The candidate shall maintain and organize Resource Directorate share drive to ensure historical records are maintained of all correspondence, briefings, and presentations. 
b. Accounting Support: 
The candidate shall provide accounting support to MCIS Resource Directorate including: through the utilization of the appropriate Marine Corps and DOD financial feeder systems PRBuilder, Defense Travel System (DTS), Standard Accounting Budgeting Reporting System (SABRS), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) , and Citidirect. The candidate will be required to coordinate with government and military agencies in the processing and submission of various funding documents. The candidate will be required to work with higher headquarters concerning the resolution issues related to problem funding documents and disbursements. 
c. Budget Management: 
The candidate shall work with identified detachment fiscal users to provide technical guidance and expertise to assist with users generating fiscal data from the Standard Accounting Budgetary Reporting System (SABRS) and Report Net; review and present PR Builder submittals. The candidate shall monitor and update the budgetary status of SABRS, PR Builder and DTS to provide monthly status reports of funds committed, obligated and expended to the Resource Director to be utilized within weekly briefings to the MCIS CO and other designated command representatives as requested. 
d. Reports: 
The candidate shall solicit, compile and forward weekly subordinate Status of Funds for each Detachment to report to MCIS Financial Managers within provided time constraints. The candidate shall assist in the development of financial management/logistical desktops and standard operating procedures. The candidate shall maintain MCIS’ Financial and Supply management historical task log on the MCIS SharePoint Portal. The candidate shall compile from all functional staff and submit, by the prescribed time or as directed by MCIS, consolidated monthly reports on all financial and budgetary significant MCIS activities in the manner and format provided. The candidate shall review the financial log on a continual basis and provide timely status updates of the assigned tasks, ensuring all suspense dates are met. 
e. Logistics: 
The candidate will provide supply logistics support by conducting market research for procurements of office supplies; maintain and account for office supplies housed within Resource Directorate office spaces; and provide customer service for supply related support. 
f. Training: 
The candidate shall attend MCIS Resource Director recommended external training directly relating to the completion of above mentioned financial support tasks. In order to remain relevant within Financial Management field, candidate will be required to attend a minimum of two (2) courses annually within Washington, DC area.


Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and in related field and two (2) to five (5) years of related experience is preferred. A valid High School diploma or GED with formal military service training and seven (7) to nine (9) years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement. 

Previous military service experience as USMC or other military service intelligence professional is highly preferred. 

Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or facilities.
