DHMSM Deputy Design Lead
Leidos's Military & Veterans Health Solutions Group is seeking a Deputy Design Lead to work on the DHMSM contract in Vienna, VA.
Provide leadership in the design of DHMSM systems, subsystems, and associated interfaces in pre- and post-deployment phases. Leadership support to technical activities to stabilize system operation and ensure suitable system performance may also be required.
General activities may also include:
Analyze and study complex system requirements. Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation. Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques. Estimate software development costs and schedule. Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques. Supervise software configuration management. Review current status of system applications and prepare recommendations for systems improvements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's and 9 years, Master's and 5+ years, or Doctorate and 4 years or related experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Senior technical and/or leadership experience with the following is essential:
· System and subsystem design
· Troubleshooting of deployed IT systems, including databases
· Requirements interpretation and decomposition
· Software development methodologies, including testing
· Software coding techniques
· Cybersecurity implementations.
Leidos Vienna, VA location. Some CONUS/OCONUS travel will be required.
US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance. DHI
